Getting ready for the first big windstorm tonight. Checking off storm tasks and looking for things that will end up in the woods unless I batten them down.
I'm on my third bowl of black vanilla in my MM cob and second pot of coffee.
I need to check all the bolts on the canopy next which means I have to climb that dang ladder over and over. I should also switch pipes on the next pot of coffee.

Now smoking Seattle Pipe Club Give Me Liberty in a straight smooth medium brown pre-1920 straight Marechal Ruchon & Cie. Royale apple with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Mac Baren Scottish Mixture in a straight, smooth brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Special 38 bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Tomato the Brave is still laying on my foot, but now he's snoring.

Found a new cigar lounge; well, new to me. Apparently it's been there for 8 years. I've done searches for such things with Google for the entire StL Metro, but this one eluded me until I found it using the tried and true method of looking at the signs in front of businesses.

While it's a cigar lounge, that means it's a place I can smoke a pipe out of the weather when I'm working and at the hotel. In fat, this one is on the way to the hotel; the two others I would go to are not. I just buy a cigar to stick in my bag and give to one of my boys, then sit down and smoke my pipe.

Plum Pudding in my Peterson 301. Nearly sublime.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink for now.

A third of a bowl left of Watch City English Ernie-ental in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day 264 Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Now smoking a bowl from a freshly opened tin of year 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Tomato the Brave is still laying on my right foot. He moves when I get up, and when I sit back down, he puts his head back on my foot. Sleepy Suzy is still by my side. Abner the Eager is snoozin' on the couch. Daisy the Feral Princess just ate, and is laying on her blue blanket. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap.

I just finished Lane 1-Q in this pre 1970 Kaywoodie Supergrain Medium Dublin 08. Dating this thing is a challenge. I can't find one with the logo on the side of the mouthpiece instead of the shank.
Sure does smoke nice with this tobacco. Waiting for the windstorm to start while watching Under the Yum Yum Tree.
