A third of the way through this bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Give Me Liberty in a straight smooth medium brown pre-1920 straight Marechal Ruchon & Cie. Royale apple with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Not that much left in the tin.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, snapper and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2021 unreleased Sutliff Black Virginia Flake in a late 80's, early 90s James Upshall P DS Tilshead England Made By Hand L185 Canadian with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Considering the sad news of Sutliff's fate, I'm even more appreciative of having this tobacco. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. All the ferals have eaten on what has been a quiet and happy day; especially seeing Sleepy Suzy snoozin' next to Abner the Eager back to back. I never expected to see that.

On the front porch drinking chocolate milk, it’s darker than midnight under a skillet.

Have the Pete Killarney XL90 going w/PA. I’d love to be smoking this thing in a pub in a village in Ireland but at my age I’ll lucky to get out of these Ozarks. Pipes are good for dreaming.

I am a fan of horror novelists and have enjoyed HP Lovecraft since I was a teenager . A pipe smoker friend just turned me on to C&D’s The Older Ones. I am ready to fire up my Heritage sandblasted straight billard with Dreams of Kadath to be followed by a Sav smooth author for Awakened Elder.

College football and rum and coke are on my menu.
