A quarter of the way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Just fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger. Fed three ferals, too. Haven't seen Abner the Eager yet. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Finished simple breakfast of fried potatoes and over medium eggs with pepper jack cheese with white toast and strawberry jelly. Enjoying my last bowls of Straus Blue chip, which I recently found out is Mclelland bulk #2030, which is British Woods in the tin. I love the jar note and have been chasing a restock for years, not knowing it was a Mclelland product.

I decided that it's the jar note I am in love with, but I get just a similarly enjoyable smoke from other well crafted Englishes, so I finally gave up on the chase. I heard that KBV's Goblin mixture has a ketchup smell, so I might have a go with that if it is still around when I am making a buy.

Smoking it in a Longchamp leather covered billiard with a cream colored tapered stem. Sweet smokes y'all!
Goblin was in stock today, as I was looking for something with Macedonian Prilep.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star mmmMocha, neat, is my drink. Watching Bat Masterson with Sleepy Suzy by my side.

Watch City Ernie-ental has it too.
Watch City Simply VOriental has 25% Macedonia Prilep. Ernie and I created it together. @Swede

A couple minutes away from smoking and reviewing Watch City Bi-Polar Express (Christmas 2024) in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Had some Epiphany in my Tomato meer while I watched Brothers, Toby Maguire and Jake Gyllenhal. Overwhelming and intense film, brilliant acting. I'm gobsmacked at the moment. It's a hard watch. Having some coffee to set myself straight and going out to dinner. I'll likely poke my head in before I rack out.

Thanks

Thanks Jim, so more than WCC Simply VOriental? I got interested in that tobacco after reading a Smoking Pipes article on it, so I guess their mojo worked. I thought it might be something I'd like based on really liking GLP Temple Bar.

Close to finishing this bowl of Watch City Bi-Polar Express (Christmas 2024) in a pre-1920s medium bend brown unbranded meerschaum Rhodesian with a tapered Redmanol stem. I accidentally said I was reviewing WC Blue Ridge in my last post. I smoked this blend. Making head way on a review of this blend.

I have to apologize to you. Ernie-ental was on my mind because it was mentioned in the post I quoted, and I was in a hurry to give an answer. I meant to write that Simply VOriental has the 25% Macedonia Prilep, and I co-created that one. It's been one of those days, man.

The Ernie-ental has less, but you'll certainly notice it. When Ernie sent it to me for an opinion, the only advice I had was "Don't change it." I think it's a very underrated blend.

Thanks very much Jim, and no worries here: they both sound good, especially that tamed down latakia in the Ernie-ental. The nice thing about ordering from WCC is I can also get American Cut Plug, and Stubbs Pipe and ...good grief there goes my budget 😉

Near the first third of this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This will get me to dinner time.

@Swede , have you had American Cut Plug? That one was my idea. Erne and I went through several versions of it to get what we wanted.

@JimInks I haven't yet, but just ordered some. I've been wanting to try this for quite a while. With this and Simply VOriental, I'll now 2 of yours and Ernie's creations. I appreciate you guys putting in all the time and effort to bring these blends to pipe smokers. One of my goals as a pipe smoker is to get experience with as many tobaccos as I can. That's why I wanted C&D Steamworks for the Black Sea Sokhoum, and man I love that blend.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Just fed Tomato the Brave. Everybody else is snoozin'.

@Swede , thanks for the kind words. ACP was designed to be an upscale OTC Bur/Va, and I think it helped fill a void for that reason. No PG, no toppings, and the casings are not strong.
