Cleaned my pipes for the week-end. I've got my coffee and the Cobbler is full of Velvet. I'm just waiting on my Sutliff order, promised by day's end. We'll see...

Christmas with wife and family. The longer I’m here the more I realize what a country boy I am. People people everywhere. Smoking a classic Savinelli straight billiard with PA. It’s starting to show signs of its 50 year age but still smokes exceptionally.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have passed the first third of this bowl of year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink.

I had to run some errands today, and traffic was nearly gridlocked. It's a pleasant 50° right now, and I'm relaxing on the patio and enjoying some recently arrived Wilke Gentry Royal Blend #2 in an '80s Peterson's 312. This is my first time with this blend and I really like it.

Near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, orange roughy and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Full Virginia Flake in a slight bend 1968 group 4S Dunhill Shell 475 cherrywood with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
