Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Abner the Eager was on my lap for a while, and now he's by my feet. Everybody else is snoozin'. M'lady and I are watching The Jim Abbott Story.

Got the Pete Churchwarden and while I'm sure it's a fine pipe it will be going back. Nothing wrong with it except that the bowl is, for me, too small and dainty and not nearly enough "meat". I suspicioned that going in in and even compared the measurements to another Peterson I have and thought it might be OK, but no. I keep doing this; don't know what's wrong with me when I know better.

Optimism isn't a sin, better to return the pipe rather than spoil it or never use it. Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants and we have to see for ourselves.

Optimism isn't a sin, better to return the pipe rather than spoil it or never use it. Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants and we have to see for ourselves. My particular yen is clays, I love them but they're fragile and tough to clean. Still, I have two - theyre wonderful for Va and delicate in the hand, like a churchwarden, and sometimes that's just what I feel like.

Just finished smoking D&R Penhooker in a smooth brown late 1890s, early 1900s unbranded military mount bulldog with a silver windcap and spigot with a black vulcanite, flared stem and orific bit. Time for an apple, and to feed the ferals.

Just finishing this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Still raining, so no walks today.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am almost half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Peruvian Macchu Picchu, neat, is my drink.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2010 Amphora Original (Brown) in a full bend barley sandblast Peterson 125th Anniversary 1898-2023 No. 172/330 302 brandy military mount with a silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip saddle stem. Watching an episode of The Lone Ranger. One of the cowboys was played by Russell Johnson, the professor from Gilligan's Island.

First smoke today. 1940s LHS stout pot with Peterson Escudo Navy Deluxe. Pouring rain and windy. I had some big trees go down last night root balls torn from the ground. Douglas Fir is notorious for that. They are where I can't drive the excavator because I will get it stuck. I'll have to cut them up the hard way and haul them out. Not in this wind and rain though. Parked inside.

Ready to fire up my Dad’s old BBB Own Made Virgin Canadian with some Mac Baren HH Burley Flake. Watching a very entertaining Miami (YTM) Iowa State bowl game. A Dale’s American Pale Ale is within reach.
