Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed my cats, Daisy the Feral Princess and Harry the Hairy. Didn't see the others. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Jim, that is so nice how you take care of the kitty's in you neighborhood. They are neat creatures. Do you put flea collars on them? I was just wondering if you had a flea problem where you reside. I gave my wife a kitten as a gift when we were dating back in 1991. Her mom wouldn't let her keep the cat so she took her over her aunt and uncle's house. When we graduated high school we rented the apartment above her aunt and uncles house, Gracie was the cat's name. We let her outside during the day and at night she would come to the window to let us know she wants to come in. I remember she got fleas real bad one year so I put a flea and tick collar on her. She didn't come home with fleas but she bought a boyfriend home lol, we ended up having kittens. I got a collar for Thomas too.
We give them flea medicine on the back of their necks. That works for thirty days, and we found that to be more effective than a flea collar.

Good morning,
I have been out of the game for a few days with a nasty cold,Dr said my breathing is not too good-give up pipe smoking,or at least use filtered pipes. I have many filtered pipes,So, it`s not really a problem. Many of my Pete SH pipes are 9mm filtered and smoke great!
Smoking a Vauen bent apple with capt black royal blend, mug of Horton`s coffee. It`s a sunny but chilly 31 degrees here,The birds were happy to see me my wife has not been filling the feeders!
You an inhaler EZ? We all inhale second hand but unless you smoke your pipe like a cigarette I can't imagine how a filter would improve the impact on your lungs. Filters in pipes are meant to reduce harshness of tonguebite. I'm not a doctor but it would appear your doctor isn't a pipesmoker. I would think smoking outdoors or in a well ventilated space would help more. That being said, I'm not suggesting you disregard his advice. The secret to good medical care is clear and thorough communication. Facts inform decisions, be open with him and ask questions.

I'm having some African Queen in the Re-Gent with my coffee.

Flea collars have problems with dosing. The length of the collar affects the dose. They've killed many pets. Pills are much safer.

Simparica is what most kennels use.
Or the liquid you put on their necks. When I lived in Nebraska running a kennel we all kept getting Lyme tick disease. I've had it three times.
We used the liquid (approved for people in Europe) so we could go out and track and practice hunting people. One deputy takes the vial and says he'll have his wife put it on his neck like the directions say. We all busted out laughing and asked him if he was going to lick it off his arm where we put ours.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink.

Cleaned a few pipes, and have a third of a bowl left of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Tomato the Brave showed up, ate, and is snoozin' now. Haven't seen Abner the Eager in three days, but as snow and ice is still around, I figure he's home. Daisy the Feral Princess is by my side.

I follow this thread with interest and, I admit, a certain level of jealousy. I'm still bucking the respiratory thing and it's too damn cold outside to sit comfortably for a pipe anyway. So I vicariously enjoy a smoke with you all, sitting at my keyboard with an empty pipe, and dream...

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem.

Currently, I have about a third of a bowl left of year 2012 Dunhill Royal Yacht in a 1970s smooth brown slight bend GBD International 9665 dublin rough top sitter with a flat bottom and a black vulcanite saddle stem.
