Last smoke of the day is year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 2016 PSF POY quarter bend black sandblasted Steve Norse Vermont Freehand egg with an aluminum band and a tortoise shell colored acrylic saddle stem. Reading while this bowl lasts.

Now smoking year 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Working and listening to The Shadow. I, too, know what evil lurks in the hearts of men because I constantly see beautiful pipes from @William Ziegler on this thread. 😆

Jim, thanks for the compliment on my pipe collection. I took inventory this past Spring. I have 140 pipes, mostly high grade such as Dunhill, Parker, Charatan, Comoy, GBD, Astley, Barling, Fribourg & Treyer, many Danish, Italian and Benchmades - more than a human being should be allowed to have! I was fortunate to work in pipe shops while in college and post college, where I could purchase them at cost in the late 60's and 70's. Also, I inherited from a family member a number of pipes that were made in the 1950s, mostly, Comoys and Castellos. I have given serious thought to "culling the herd", but then emotional attachments kick in such as pipes that my deceased wife gifted me in our 46 years of marriage. However, there are many I could sell.

Been relaxing after a wonderful salad, snapper and sugar snap peas dinner with a bowl of rocky road ice cream for dessert. Then, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 Strang in a 2003 smooth light brown medium bend straight grain Ardor Venere Extra signed by Dorelio Rovera Dublin with a black acrylic saddle stem.

Then, I enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and smoked a bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Been watching episodes of Unearthed.

Taht Dublin is one of my favourite pipes of yours, Jim.

I had BRO in the Cobbler with coffee this morning. I'm moving on to EGR in my Brigham bent Dublin for my second cup of coffee.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple lunch. I've a third of a bowl left of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink.

A third of a bowl left of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production. Abner the Eager just showed up, so he's inside and eating. Harry the Hairy's kind of squirrely. Dunno what's bothering him. Tomato the Brave was on my lap for a while, and after all these years, he's started licking my hand after I scratch and rub him this past week. Daisy the Feral Princess has spent all of her time snoozin'. She started licking and nibbling my hand about a month ago.
