Now smoking year 2008 Astley’s No. 109 in a straight smooth dark brown year 1926 Parker Super Bruyere patent 3 63/F lovat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This will get me to dinner. Watching Gunsmoke with an early appearance by Festus.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, steel head trout and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. The ferals have been in and out several times today. Tomato the Brave showed up late, but he had plenty to eat.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown undated Gesandt Canadian Made in England with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was originally owned by Poul Schluter, who was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982-1993. I'll end the day with this smoke.

When I was a consultant I traveled all over the world. I used to visit zoos and botanical gardens. I wish I had known about pipe shops back then. One summer I commuted from The Netherlands to England, Sweden, Denmark and Finland every week. Had to have been some amazing shops back then.
I'm a farmer now so travel is not going to happen very often. Wonder if they have a YouTube video tour? Going to go check.
Pipe Shops, or more commonly known as bespoke tobacconist's here, were once extremely common on the high streets in the UK. You could find 3 or four in the smallest of towns. Now unfortunately they have become as rare as Hens teeth.

Good evening my friends and fellow BoBs ☺️.
I apologise for my absence of late, we have been down to our cottage in Cornwall, sorting out the mess left over by the recent storms that have plagued the UK recently. Fortunately no serious damage was done, just a few fallen trees, a demolished greenhouse, and a huge branch through the kitchen window. Nothing at all compared to the people of California, Turkey, and other places around the world.
But I digress. I'm about to fill a Meershaum with some Hobbit Weed, then head out to the smoking room
(Yes I'm in the pub 😉). And count my blessings, as I puff away like a steam engine. Enjoy the rest of your day my friends. And God be with you.

Good morning BoB,

I smoked a pipefull of TCS Parson's Blend in my mm cob.
Here beside the building where we are now building our skydiving rigs, there are a pair of Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major radial engines. In fact these very two once were mounted to the Spruce Goose. The prior owner of this property intended to fit them onto a race plane that would have been the most powerful piston engined race plane ever built but sadly, he passed away before his dream was realized. Now they sit, decaying.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Just fed my cats, and the ferals except for the absent Abner the Eager and Harry the Hairy. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
