Going out to dinner with my cycling cronies this evening. Just indulging in a bowl of Crooner in my Red Rossi Canadian before I get ready. Have a good evening guys.
Today is a day of debuts! I am new to this community (Very nice to meet you all), I am about to smoke for the first time this beautiful estate pipe
peterson 314, and I’ll also start “The two towers” (It will be the first time i read it in its original language). To top it up, since my wife it’s not home tonight, i’ll indulge myself and i’ll smoke something with latakia in it… In the living room! (I’ll make sure to ventilate afterwards haha) All washed down with a delicious local session IPA called “el turó de l’home” and perhaps a glass of Cragganmore to close the night… I’m in for a treat!
Enjoyed a fairly big Pasta Fittata, a decent size slice of pecan Danish Kringle, a big and tasty Snap Dragon apple, unsalted peanuts, and three cups of Lavazza Classico lunch. I'm now smoking year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Fed all the ferals without any drama although Tomato the Brave was a tad wild, and wanted lots of attention. So did Abner the Eager, who ended up exchanging lap time between m'lady and my assistant. Abner is most certainly a lady's man.
Now smoking year 2014 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth dark brown 1916 Barling The Hunt with beautiful silver work and a black vulcanite saddle stem with an orific bit.
Another 75 degree day in Austin. I am watching Michigan Oregon basketball while smoking a rusticated straight billiard Ser Jacopo stuffed with C&D’s Firebird Flake. One of my last Sierra Nevada Celebration Ales is within easy reach.
Starting GLP Laurel Heights in a bent Legend Rob Roy along with a cup of coffee. I received the lighter and speaker I ordered and they're good purchases!
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with a slice of pecan Danish Kringle and a small bowl of the last of the butter pecan ice cream for dessert. I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a 2000s brown quarter bend sandblast Pierluigi 140 brandy military mount with a silver cap and a caramel acrylic saddle stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in a long time. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
