Now smoking year 2020 Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake in a 1938 smooth straight brown patent Dunhill R 115 bowling ball apple with a tapered cumberland stem.

Actually on my second pipe of the morning. I headed to the tobacco shop in Fayetteville NC to pick up an order of Valhalla and Mountain Morning Camp. Decided I smoke a bowl of Valhalla in the lounge. Using workhorse, Savinelli green Alligator 614.

I really like the flavor of the dark fired Kentucky.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the ferals except for the absent Tomato the Brave. With more rain coming, he may stay wherever he is. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Folks on this cruise ship act as if they’ve never seen a briar pipe. Some of the cruise bartenders (all international from a ton of countries) are pointing at me. One came up and asked to smell the tobacco. I’m definitely an outlier in the smoking section of the ship. A Tsuge Cats Eye filled with Sam Gawith Squadron Leader. A pineapple rum drink is within sipping distance.

Lol we forget how weird it looks to other people for us to to be smoking a pipe in public. Vapes are normalized. There was a YouTuber named Public Piper that made it a mission to smoke pipes in public and positively engage with curious onlookers, he was in Raleigh, NC.

I'm smoking BK Flake, privately, in a Cromwell branded petite apple.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple lunch. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Cafe 645, neat, is my drink. Watching Bat Masterson with Sleepy Suzy by my side.

I returned last night from a week-long trip to Albuquerque where I preached at my brother-in-law's funeral. It's warmed up enough to take Jacksie out for a walk. I'm going to smoke TCS Cowboy Coffee in a
Republic of Ireland Peterson, made for Georg Huber, “Kapp-Royal” X105 smooth Billiard with golden bands, a 9mm filter Cumberland fishtail stem with golden inset Peterson logo.

I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of ear 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production. Tomato the Brave showed up, ate, and spent a little time going between my lap, m'lady's lap, and our friend Teresa's lap, which is where he is now.

Enjoyed a way too short snooze, and am almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff 507-C Slices in a sandblasted medium bend 1950s Reuben era Charatan Deluxe 11 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Going to clean a few pipes soon.

It's been a good day for me today! Brace for it...

Went to the course and Craig, my super, was there. Hale and hearty, his knee replacement is ahead of schedule on rehabilitation. Had a bowl of Captain Black original in my Re-Gent while we caught up and planned for the coming season.

Got home and my latest shipment from SP arrived a MM/C&D Durham Don, a MM Diplomat Bent Apple, 100g of Kopp 1919, and 100g of Kopp Ahoy. I had to restrain myself or I would have lit a pipe cold and possible cracked the bowl. Wildest of all there was no duty! I'm quite sure that may be remedied by CBSA but I'm revelling in it as long as it lasts!

So, I'm having VaSlices cubed in my new Durham Don, and I love it! It's a great shape for a cob! Wayne Gretzky "99" Double Oak Canadian Whiskey to pair! Today, life is good!
