Looks like my last post of a bowl was February 7, wow, that seems quite a while. The weather has been crappy, especially all the rain. Then came the snow and single digit cold, but today is sunny and 32 F. Having a lunch bowl of 2024 C&D Steamworks in a smoky H&B Irwin cob with Upton Yunnan very strong brewed tea with milk and sugar-mmmm!

Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. Abner the Eager was waiting for me when I finished my walking. I scooped him up, fed him, and he's snoozin' now.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of KBV Pork Chops and Apple Sauce 2025 in an undated, unbranded straight lattice meerschaum military mount with a silver cap and tapered yellow acrylic stem.

I followed that up with a bowl of year 2008 Astley’s No. 109 Medium Flake in a straight black 1963 Dunhill LBS Shell 4S billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

And I just finished smoking year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a very early Ascorti straight New Dear KS billiard with a carved shank and a black acrylic tapered stem. Been watching old western movies, and Dick Tracy versus Cueball, which was pretty dumb even for a b-movie.

It's very spring-like here in sunny South Wales, and I'm sat in the garden in a t-shirt for the first time in months. In honour of this tremendous, sunny day, I'm enjoying a Vauen McRooty filled with Peterson Old Dublin, accompanied by a pint of Abbot Reserve ale. Life is good, fellow pipers. Life is good.
