Did a bit of low calorie snacking, and then smoked a bowl of Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Daisy the Feral Princess has been very active this evening batting around various things. She was on my lap for a while until I snacked, and when she jumped off, Tomato the Brave took her warm spot. He left when Sleepy Suzy gave him a stare down, and she's by my side purring away as always. I took the following photo of Suzy right before I posted this smoke.

Away for a couple of nights to visit my daughter in uni. Just finished packing, starting with the most important - pouch filled with Peterson Sunset Breeze - which will be enjoyed later in a beer garden with a real ale or a nice glass of red. As a reward for finishing the packing, I'm tucking into a cob filled with Ashton Winding Road whilst sitting in the sunshine!

We have very nice weather in the Bluegrass today. I'm outside enjoying Kramer's Father Dempsey in a
Peterson Dublin Edition 999 with nickle band and vulcanite fishtail stem. This is my first time with this blend, and it's very much to my liking.

Some may remember my post on "Accessories" looking for a metal holder that would accommodate a contemporary pocket match box. The vintage ones are all too small, but I finally came across this one from a place called Celtic Knot Works; they feature all manner of Celtic medallions, charms, etc. I'm mostly of German origin (although my paternal grandmother was a Kelly) and didn't really see a Celtic image that fit or appealed to me; eventually I settled for this Tree of Life which is not bad. Well-made and sturdy of stainless steel; on its maiden voyage here with my Pete rusticated Deerstalker and some Shepherd's Pie...

A third of a bowl left of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed Sleepy Suzy and the irrepressible Molly Danger, who proceeded to jump up and down on my pillow after she finished with a lot of glee. Daisy the Feral Princess ate rather quietly. Tomato the Brave quickly gulped down his wet food, and has been roaming around the den looking for things to bat around. Harry the Hairy is eating outside although I know he wanted in. Haven't seen Abner the Eager yet.

Loaded my Brigham bent Dublin with Old Joe Krantz, I think. It may have been Haunted Bookshop. Proceeded to vacuum and clean house. I am expecting a delivery from LePeltier pipes by week's end. Very excited.

Enjoyed a Jethro Bodine size bowl of Raisin Bran with extra raisins thrown in, some unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple lunch. I'm near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Giving the 4AB Natural a day of rest. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. Looking forward to tonight's off diet dinner.

Off today and finished a trip to haul lumber for a project. Now relaxing with a bowl of Bluff Blend in an MM General with forever stem. Things are greening up, thank God.

Are the green tips indicative of an atypical property of those matches?
