Now smoking year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Abner the Eager was on my lap for a bit, but he decided to go outside. I had to carry him to the side of the house so Harry the Hairy wouldn't bother him.

Last pipe of the day. A Ser Jacop Picta 05 Van Gough with Star of the East. Bands and venues picked for this week. Lots to choose from with over 3000 bands descending on Austin over a 5 day period. Unfortunately no pipes given the city’s strict no smoking policies. I know I’ll smell plenty of weed this week but God forbid if a briar or cigar is lit.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've passed the first third of this bowl of year 2019 Ascanian No. 1 in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) The Exmoor Pipe 283 chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Took out the trash, broke down boxes for recycle, enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, fed Daisy the Feral Princess, Harry the Hairy, and Tomato the Brave, and am near the last quarter of this bowl of year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem. Daisy and Tomato took turns coming in and out three times in two minutes. Dunno what that's about, but Daisy finally decided to stay in. At least they had plenty to eat. So did Harry the Hairy.

Now smoking year 2014 Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a 2002 black sandblast full bend D.R. Ardor Urano dublin with a slightly tapered far side of the bowl and a black acrylic saddle stem. Haven't smoked this pipe a couple of years, so I decided to do so while I do some reading now that the house is quiet. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I had a wonderful visit from my daughter and her boyfriend Chris. Chris tried Edward G. Robinsons and we had sushi and drank a freaking gallon of chocolate milk.
Having C&D Autumn Nights in a pretty little no name poker that smokes wonderfully.
Azula went home today and is very happy to be home. Basil's teaching her to run next to the bike (too dangerous for me) and I'm working on having bikes roll by while walking her. He's a high level mountain biker and handled her bolting towards me on his bike while running by. No idea how he doesn't fall.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and then smoked a bowl of year 2012 Virginia Spice in a 1979 brown grain etched Lane Era Charatan's Make medium bend calabash shape 483DC with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. It's been quite a while since I smoked this pipe, although it saw heavy action for the first twenty years that I owned it. It's still a great smoker.

Last smoke of the day is year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2015 Basil Meadows Bing Crosby Merchant Service replica with a smooth straight thin shank, aluminum band and black ebonite stem. This was the first “Bing” that Basil made. Tomato the Brave was on my lap for a while, and when he got thirsty, he went to the kitchen. Daisy the Feral Princess was laying by my feet, and when she saw Tomato walking away, she jumped on my lap. Sleepy Suzy has been laying on the left arm of my chair for several hours, mostly sleeping, so she never chased either Tomato or Daisy away as she usually does. She's by my side right now. Daisy's snoozin' on her blanket after eating some dry food.
