Another run at Essence of Vermont in a Falcon. I am really beginning to enjoy this one more and more. The contrast between the perique spice and light maple topping is quite nice and keeps this mixture from falling into the doledrums. As the bowl burns down the spiciness gets heavier but never overwhelming.
