Onyx in a 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 rusticated Rhodesian.

I'm almost finished smoking Anniversary Kake in a 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49. As I've only a couple of bowlfulls left of this AK tin, I decided to open up an 8 oz. tin of Louisiana Red, which I will smoke in a 2002 smooth Ardor Silver Line 3 EGER 05 paneled horn as my last smoke of the night/morning.

Loading the last pipe of the night. Lane Ltd 1Q in a Comoy's Tradition #42. Bit of a change up for me but I do what my pallet commands :twisted:

Have a wonderful night BoB

Go to sleep and good night;
In a rosy twilight,
With the moon overhead
Snuggle deep in your bed.
God will watch, never fear,
While Heaven draws near.
Go to sleep and good night

Fan of your work brother! :cheers:

I've tried mixtures (particularly with baccys that aren't great on their own) but never layering. I'd be interested to hear how that works out for you

Morning pipe for me - Jack Lee's Honey Malt in a Mario Grandi straight billiard.

It wasn't bad at all. It had the initial draw of the FM which was awesome and then slowly went into the Treebeard which is good any time of the day. I was quite happy.

Peterson's Hyde Park in a Brebbia 301.

Starting to really get into this blend. It's got a delicious toasty flavour and an aftertaste a bit like black tea.

Good news about the experiment Kaiser - I might have to try that myself sometime.

It had been awhile since I had gotten into my tin of Dunhill Nightcap so I pulled it off the shelf last night and loaded up my favorite little Turkish meerschaum. I noticed that the tobacco was getting quite dried out in the tin (something I hadn't anticipated...the lid was screwed on tight) so I transferred the remainder to a small Mason jar. It wasn't too dry though because I ended up having a second bowl in a Missouri Meerschaum bent Gentleman (a slightly bigger dose). I keep raving about this blend because it truly is the perfect end to any day. Add to that I'm in the middle of "The NAME of the WIND" by Patrick Rothfuss and it was even better.
