1985 MacBaren Navy Flake in a smooth three quarter bend early '70s Stanwell Design Choice 837 sitter.

G&H Dark Birdseye in an old Barling straight Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. with a silver band and military bit.

Began the day with a fine bowl of OGS in my estate Savinelli Oscar Lucite 316 Rhody.

Started breaking in my Tinsky '12 Christmas Dark Blast with some PA late morning.

Rubbed out some ODF and had that mid afternoon in an estate Savinelli mid afternoon.

Have some P&W #78 drying for after supper, as well as Stonehead for dessert.

:bom:

Cheers,

RR

Earlier it was a couple bowls of FMOTT in a LaRocca
followed by Chelsea Morning in an unknown clay full bent (damn thing stinks like hell for an hour after smoking),
then Edwards Honey Bucc in a GBD Billiard.

Right now it's Carter Hall in a cob

Onyx in a big bowl 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 sandblast Rhodesian.

Solani ABF by the fire in a Knute blasted freehand. Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale on the side.

McClelland 2015 in a 1979 medium bend etch relief meerschaum lined TinderBox Arabesque.

Luxury Navy Flake in a 1998 smooth three quarter bend Peterson Limerick 69.

MacBaren Golden Extra in a smooth three quarter bend 1979 made in Israel pipe.

Final smoke of the long work day is Sugar Barrel in a straight 2012 Rekamepip made Sugar Barrel pipe.

As per usual my day starts off with a strong black cuppa either Danish Khave or Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee and a bowl of Reverie in a vintage cob.

R-Blend/Painter Hills combo in a Lepeltier Burley. Not my favorite pipe, in part because I need to pack it fairly loose to get a good smoke, which also means a pretty quick smoke, and also because 1) it's on the heavy side, difficult to clench continously & 2) the glazed clay bowl gets really hot. On a cold day like today, when I'm wearing gloves anyway, though, that bowl works as a nice hand warmer!
