Spent yesterday afternoon with a friend (nonsailor here on the forums) whom I hadn't seen in 23 years. We drank fine Scotch and beer and smoked Hamborger Veermaster. 'Twas a fine, fine day.
Started the New Year early at 5 am today and am on my third bowl of the day, some 2013 CC in my Peretti Straight grain'd bent bulldog I got in '12. mmmmmmmm ketchup to start the new year with
Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2013 MM straight Legend, followed by Angler's Dream in a medium bend 2002 MM Legend cob. Now, it's MacBaren Halberg Green in a straight 1979 MM Legend.
Like a dummy I forgot to post my Paul Becker last go around. This go around is Abingdon in the Wolfgang Becker Wolf Paw Dublin Nosewarmer with partial plateau top and one knuckle bamboo accent. Having a deep, strong and dark Sumatran PRM.
Staying with the McKetchup program for the day, some CV 2010 red/orange Va in a 13-L Edward's Brandy I got back in the late '70's. mmmmmmm premium Hienz 57
The King Cut Crown Roast of pork is slathered with extra virgin olive oil, sage, rosemary, thyme, cracked peppercorn medley and Himalayan Sea Salt, I'm lining up my next pipes. The Paulo Becker Strawberry Wood Dublin 4 Clover Grade and the Fritz Becker squashed Dublin, probably Margate in the Paulo and Stonehaven in the Fritz, will be busy for awhile....... and yes, I do love all my Becker's!
Finishing up my pre-dinner bowl of my fave Dunhill 'bacy, some Royal Yacht, this one in my Saseini Four Dot Natural "Melton" strait saddle bit Bulldog. I do love this 'bac !!
