I am having some McClelland 221 Baker st. Black Shag in my Peterson 999. Excellent smoke straight from the tin. No drying time. This tin was produced in 2011. I need to order more of it. It is agood one to stock up on. I can see Sherlock smoking this blend. It has a OTC quality (texture) to it, but with high quality tobacco leaf. It is a very pleasurable smoke.
An update. This baccy smokes with voluminous amounts of smoke without any bite. I really like the shag cut as it burns nice and cool. I have gotten over an hour out of this bowl and am not quite done yet.
Last night, baked escudo in my Growley smooth Rhodesian. Tonight, DT limerick in my Piersel smooth billiard, McC fragrant matured in my new BOB POY Piersel smooth Scottie!
