Now smoking C&D Burley Flake #3 in a black 1980 sandblasted Peterson Premiere 01 medium bend apple with a black vulcanite stem and p-lip. Had a root canal and temporary filling today, but at least I can smoke! :D

Hello from Greece, we had sun here in Athens in the whole morning but the temperature was a little bit low. After work i had some shopping: i bought a new digital thermometer-hygrometer for our kitchen, a new pipe and pipe cleaners and i made my dental x-rays. Now i am relaxing smoking Mac Baren Mixture Aromatic, later and before bed a cup of chamomile.

GLP's outrageous Sixpence in a restored Viking pipe with a smooth billiard bowl. Great combo!!

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Now smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. Ice tea and bergs is my drink.

Preparing:

Jackknife Plug, sliced and well rubbed out and relaxing on a tobacco tray for another 15 minutes.

Pipe of choice: LHS smooth chubby pot with a silver band. Just one of MANY LHS pipes I own, thanks Grandpa.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

A third left of this bowl of Watch City 4th Nun in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051 Dublin with a black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.

Glad to hear you made it through that ordeal and you're still in the game Jim. When I had my root canal not only was the entire side of my mouth and cheek numb, also the side of my tongue. I drooled excessively too (gross!), until it wore off late in the evening. No way would food taste good or even pleasant at that point.

All to say it's great to know you can still enjoy a pipe after a root canal. You're a better man than I......... :silent:

Had another fine bowl of Dunnie Dk Flake after work, again in the Tinsky '15 BoB POTY.

Cheers,

RR

Burley & Black and Bayou Night blend aged 14 months in my T. Cristiano rusticated billiard pipe.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

MacBaren Raw Classic in an egg shaped medium bend smooth Burgundy colored 1985 Caminetto with a black acrylic stem.

Thanks, man. I wasn't sure how I was going to be afterward. I won't even talk about the cost... geezzzz! I hope I don't have to have a crown on that back molar. Anyway, when I got home, I had all that numbness, too, but my right side was okay, so I, rightly as it turned out, smoked a Peterson pipe and the p-lip allowed me to hold the pipe in my mouth as needed.

Some Dunhill Black Aromatic in a Savinelli Natural. While feeding the woodstove as so to fight the - 30 deg Celsius ravaging cold on the loose outside. :face: :affraid:

Well, it's been a while and missed my Sunday treat the last two weeks, so now is the perfect time!!
Preparing: slicing, rubbing some out and leaving some coin cut. Has to air dry for another 30 minutes. I layer this superb tobacco in my pipe. It's a project that's worth every second!!

The Incredible Strang in my Ardor Urano Zulu pipe. This is without a doubt the finest tobacco I've ever smoked.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!
