This pipe appears to have changed hands at least a few times before I received it from a seller on eBay. A google search revealed it was available from the fine folks at SmokingPipes.com in their estate section, and they described the shape as if "...the old Roley/vest-pocket pipe shape and a stubby Blowfish design had a baby..." I have a particular fondness for the compact forms the talented carvers in Nashville create.
Granger, over 35 years old in a MM Country Gentleman pipe. Granger was the only tobacco my grandfather smoked for over 60 years. This last pipe full of the day is for you and all the fond memories. Rest In Peace.
The last of my open stash of Uhle’s 00 in a 1986 full bend pebble relief Aldo Velani Titan 33 briar Oom Paul/Calabash with a black acrylic stem that has a briar accent.
John Patton's Storm Front in my RDPipes Devil Anse. Custom made by our member of the BoB Ron Powell. I have accumulated many pipes over the past 48 years, this Devil Anse is one of my top 3 favorites. Not for its beauty and superb craftsmanship, but for the way it smokes.....OUTSTANDING!
