This is one of those rarities that I would like too share with ya'll:

A while back I purchased just the briar bowl portion of an early '50's Yello-Bole Imperial Pipe, a smooth Billiard style with a nice grain and NO fills. The pipe was purchased on eBay for $4.50, this pipe is the one I made a hand cut Lovat style Ebonite stem, also prior posted a picture.
Well, the story is....this pipe has become one of my top FIVE favorite smoking pipes!! Whatever Burley or Virginia blend I stuff it with, it simply smokes them superbly. Never a gurgle or restricted draw, what I would call an easy smooth smoker.
I own a number of pipes costing hundreds of dollars each and they don't preform half as well as this OLD Yello-Bole. THIS PIPE WILL NEVER SEE A LAT BLEND FOR SURE!

Now gently stuffing this pipe with Carter Hall, just over 10.5 years aged in a Mason jar. Will be a fabulous smoke for sure :cheers: :cheers:

Just finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1980s black sandblasted slight bend Savory’s Argyll 281 Cherrywood with a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Cheerwine is my drink.

Almost half way through this bowl of C&D Bluegrass in a medium bend raw sienna toned early Radice sandblast egg with bamboo carving on the shank and a black acrylic stem. Still catching up on e-mails, Facebook stuff, etc.

Now smoking C&D Light of the Universe in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top with a gray swirl colored stem.
