Peretti's DD
Pipe of choice: Joh's smooth Brandy bowl with an oval shank and a wide slightly bent stem.
This pipe I purchased a few years ago on eBay new, $30.00 delivered. It's one of my top 15 favorite pipes, superb smoker due to the deep bowl with a 7/8" diameter to the chamber and the well aged Algerian briar. The pipe was hand made by Joh, best known for his pipe making craft when he worked alongside Bjarne Nielsen. All of my Joh's pipes are excellent smokers and still made in Denmark. So, if you ever have the chance to pick up a Joh's pipe at a reasonable price I HIGHLY recommend you do so, you'll be delighted on your very first smoke...

Pipe of choice: Savinelli: Punto Oro Natural 320 KS

Shhhh.....don't want my friend from NY to know..... this 320KS that cost my friend $320.00 @ the Savinelli shop in Italy smokes no better than the Savinelli 320KS Trevi pipe that cost $80.00!! Okay, the Punto Oro Natural has a beautiful grain but is it really worth the additional $240.00????

The Punto Oro Natural 320 KS is also available @ Smokingpipes for $336.00, which is a good price here in the States.
