We went to a late afternoon birthday dinner party today where everyone except me were non-smokers.  So, I left my pipes/cigars at home.  The party was ok but I couldn't wait to get home and fill my pipe.  Tonight I am smoking SPC's Vashon Island again.  This is one of my favorite tobaccos and one of my "go to" tobaccos when nothing else will do.  I'm smoking it in a recently purchased Estate Weber Shellbrooke with a slightly bent saddle bit stem.

Half way through this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem. A bottle of Boylan's Root Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Suzy and Molly were so happy to see me awake that they allowed me to get a drink and a smoke before begging for attention. How sweet of them!!
