Popped a tin (bought in Jan.) of Sam Gawith Best Brown Flakes today, very moist so I let it sit out on my truck seat to dry for a couple of hours. At lunch I stuffed it in my Bent Boswell and it truely is a cool mild smoke, very tasty, no bite.

Morning, gents. Yesterday on the city streets was my classic-in-classic combo, Granger in my Dr. G. Westbrook.

This morning, Davidoff Flake Medallions in my Nanna Stan. This tobacco is of a one-trick pony to my tastebuds.

Couple of months ago I was going through my stash. Found a jar with about 2 ounces of aged Red Cake. Now, I like McClelland's Red Cake, tastes good, but it's kind of plain and simple and can be a bit boring. I had about an ounce of Rattray's Dark Fragrant left in another jar, also a good tobacco but a bit mono chromatic, so I married em together and pressed the tobacco tightly in a jar. The results are great! A really nice smoke with body and depth, the dark fired smokey Virginia playing well against the mild sweetness of Red Cake. Smoked a couple bowls today, currently finishing up a bowl in my Stanwell Nanna Ivarsson. :D

I am enjoying my first pipe of the day,Solani Sweet Mystery in a

Peretti's BPC in a Pete 999. This is a very under-rated burley blend.
