Loaded up a bowl of an old favorite, C&D Yaller Dawg in this Varese freehand. Varese pipes are seconds from the Ardor shop and I haven't figured out yet why they considered this large piece of briar a second. It has a near perfect straight grain almost around the entire bowl.

Hamboorger Veermaster in a 1998 Peterson Year Pipe, silver spigot bulldog.

The last few days I've been smoking a mix of S.G. FVF & Med VF in this new Tinsky for break in. It sure is a great smoker.

Hi All, Four pipes so far to-day, Noble Bachleor, a nrw proto,of the SHPC, a nice version of a Scottish/Balkan, in two different pipes, Gallaher's Mellow Va. two bowls in my Tinsky Caldron, a SHPC POY, Ken.

Starting the day off with Walnut in a Dunhill 5102 Shell.

Smoking Full Virginia Flake in a Jobey 1/4 bent bulldog.

Exceptional way to watch the sunset.

Old Gowrie in a GBD New Era bent billiard.

Walnut in an African figural pipe that my son brought back to me from one of his missionary trips to Africa. The pipe, I think is African Rosewood but not sure. It has a detachable stem with a regular tenon/mortise design all made from the same wood and it smokes like a dream.

I'll second the cool! I've looked for pipes on several trips to Africa and all I saw looked like crap.

My son, Ben was doing missionary work based in Northern South Africa near Mozambique and they were traveling over into the bush in Mozambique. I think he got the pipe somewhere in one of those regions. It is a very intersting and functional pipe. I will always cherish it!

Just finished a magnificent bowl of Walnut in a Kaywoodie Supreme bent billiard.

Mark, I agree that voodoo pipe looks cool!
Last night it was Manhattan Afternoon in my new Tinsky #13.
Today it's M.A. in my Tinsky Author.

Starting today's smoking off in a Brissett giant straight grain horn. It will be the only pipe that I will probably have to load today and return to several times to finish it. It is a monster hunk of briar!
