I have 2 Jobert pipes, both olivewood. Made by Johan Slabbert. Heared he passed away...is that correct ? I bought 1 maybe 6 years ago, the other one was a present. Here's a picture of the one I'm smoking now. http://members.chello.nl/m.romijn4/pics/pipes/Jobert1/Jobert1a.jpg

 
Piet & I got together for coffe & a few bowls this afternoon. The menu included Escudo, Union Square, Beacon & Exhausted Rooster. He restored a few pipes for me which came out brilliantly. Right now it's 3 Oaks Syrian in a Castello Sea Rock Canadian.

Damn Muddler... you beat me to it..... yes it was great! and I must say the ESCUDO came out on top. True to MUDDLER STYLE he cracked a 2.5 yr old tin of it for us to smoke......... THE KING OF VAPERS indeed!

Mudd also, being the guy he is gave me a wonderful birthday gift.

C&D Opening Night in a Dunhill "Special Grain" Rhodesian. In this particular pipe's case, I think the use of the word "special" has a derogatory meaning. ;)
