OM Yvette

First dance with this lady. Wow, there is so much going on here that it's difficult to pick out any one aroma. I do get lots of dark fruit, but beyond that it's sort of like a complex symphony of flavors.

I wanted to break out of the Old Mill streak I've been on, but I couldn't manage to do so this morning.

Old Mill Lambic. Holy wow. The tin note is the scent of opening a Lambic. I wondered if I shouldn't partake so early in the morning and then I reasoned, "it's 5 o'clock somewhere."

I get berries, not overpowering or cloying, but they are in there. I'm also getting hops, not like McC's Hops (delightful) but in proportion to the type. I expected carbonation and almost thought I experienced it. That may have been the malt and barley playing tricks on me.

This is not earthy by any stretch, but a light and exceeding easy to take snuff that anticipates warmer weather.

I think I found my summer snuff.

I just tried it. I get something similar. After Lambic, which was easier to pick up, Yvette was an enjoyable mystery.

Old Mill: Rat *******. Surprisingly subtle. Darkish and sneaky.

Followed by Old Mill: Spring Equinox.  Brigjt & floral happy, happy, joy, joy!

Followed by Olde English 2015. Like Balkan Cocoa. Unique and delicious.

OM Solstice

Another potpourri of tin aromas. Sniffing starts with a mix of cloves, oranges and red berries. After a minute or so I get a warm dose of cinnamon that really opens up my sinus. This mellows into a nice spiced cider. Definitely not recommeded for warmer weather, but this was just right for a cool day along the coast.
