Kevin, that's what I do with the round tins that seal well. Great for storing tobacco for a few days. Your gluing a match striker is another good idea

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

Lone -- Glad you like the idea. I've glue sticked the striker strip on the inside of the lid and on the bottom of the box. Inside the lid protects it in wet weather. On the bottom of the box is convenient in dry weather.

Kevin, appreciate your advice. Just used a double sided tape and it's ready to go  Have a great night.

KEEP ON PUFFING!!!

I thought I posted this earlier but did not see it so they work great to make carborator seals a d patches for rusted exhaust pipes and many more things

I recycle mine by putting my bulk tobaccos in them for taking it with me. I find pouches let the baccy dry out too quickly.

When the tins start to rust or get too scruffy I put them in the recycling bin.

Love the razor kit Stick.

Cheers

Tim

I can't bring myself to throw em away (cigar boxes either). To me they are like art because of the label. Also being in Korea they've travelled a long way to get into my hands so I consider them pretty special. I usually put bulk tobacco in them to carry about. Or my wife uses them for storing sewing stuff.

Stick...too cool with the shaving kit.

I like the candle idea...may give that a go.
