I haven't the slightest idea. I think the ftr would mean "for the record"...but I can't get the PLT

Well, I have to agree with P-Diddy. FTRPLT's avatar pic is a military jet plane... so I just always assumed...

I personally went with a little less cryptic approach. In my case, "Tim in Ohio" means I am a guy named Tim who resides in Ohio. You prolly knew that though. ;)

If I may... what does "Brentona" mean?
My full name is Brenton Andrew, BrentonA just kinda stuck I'm not sure why. I have it on a couple of guitars as well.

I never knew that was someone's tag on here. I had always seen it after something that was said in a humorous context. Maybe I was just reading too much into it!
:)

Yep!! FTRPLT= Fighter Pilot. I had to quickly think up a password (long expired!!) for a financial account several years ago. FTRPLT just popped into my head. I started using this nickname on the old JR board and just kept it as we evolved to BoB. And, yes, I "were one," flying the F-4 Phantom for 18 years followed by the F-16 Viper for 5 years. Check Six, keep your head on a swivel, survive to fight another day  There are only two types of aircraft....Fighters...and targets :lol!: FTRPLT

I know some people in "Birds of a Feather".Fine people.

I never looked at it as a signature to things you post, I had always thought of it as standing for something!

FTRPLT,

Thank you for your service and keeping us safe. I'm an Air Force veteran as well although my job was not as glamorous.
