What's your favorite beer?

For me Warsteiner Dunkel is the best beer I've had in the states. Alt Bier in Germany is my favorite there.

I'm also really digging the Sunset Wheat (can't remember the manufacturer now.)

I recently tried Wild Blue Blueberry Beer and was pleasantly surprised.

I'm curious what you like.

When I have a choice, I usually go for Shiner Bock

Is the shiner bock higher in alcohol content. I tried some Bock from Trader Joe's and just one bottle gave me a buzz.

1. Pabst Blue Ribbon
2. Budwieser
3. Miller High Life
4. Red Stripe
5. Schlitz(not the Malt Liquor) I had this recently at a beer fest it was great.

I really prefer these in draft. Bottles next and cans if I just have to.

Actually, I'm not sure...I believe it's pretty much the same as any other full-flavored beer, perhaps just a bit higher.

That's like asking me which was the most beautiful sunset you ever saw.

They're all beautiful if they're good.

I'd rather have one from a micro-brewery than one of the macros, I can tell you that.

But the two I always have in the fridge are Heineken and Abita Amber.

Well, I highly recommend you check them out then. Green Flash, Alesmith, and Lost Abbey are actually out of San Diego. Whereabouts are you from in SoCal (I'm originally from San Diego myself)? Lagunitas and Russian River are NoCal breweries, Great Divide - Denver, Two Brothers - Illinois, Flying Dog - Maryland, and Southern Tier - Upstate New York.

I'm in L.A., and I'll keep an eye for some of those. I prefer dark ales and stouts, are any of those dark brews?

Most of them put out a range of beers including stouts, porters and other darker ales.

In LA you have not too many breweries, but there is The Bruery (Placentia). They mostly do Belgian style and sour ales. Top Shelf stuff.
