Where is the spring?

Here in Alabama we went from: too cold to smoke on the porch a few weeks back ---> 87 degrees today.

Temperatures will probably swing and we will be freezing for Easter. :roll:

Almost the same here North of you. Went from cold/frost to nice weather. It's been averaging 55-60 early mornings, with upper 70's in the afternoons. Can't beat weather like this!

70 degrees and muggy here. Unheard of for March in these here parts. I'll be in southern Arkansas for a good blast of heat all next week.

Where is spring? I've been wondering the same thing myself lately!

Here in the Cascade foothills east of Seattle we've been pounded by snow over the past several weeks. In fact about a week ago I had 6-8" new snow. And the Cascades have had an additional 1-2' at pass elevations.

I live at about 1000' ft and am rubbing shoulders with the I-90 E/W corridor over the Snoqualmie pass. So my neighborhood gets the worst of the higher elevation precipitation.

Over the last week I've had plenty of additional snow. Some has melted, some remains. And just now not 15 minutes ago, we had a reasonably hard hailstorm with pea-sized hail that went on for minutes. It's still on the ground and my rear deck despite temps being above 32F.

This sucks. I've had a couple days in the past several weeks where the snow accumulation made it a challenge to get into work off my hill. Fortunately I have an AWD vehicle and grew up in Wisconsin so have retained winter driving skills.

But yes, WHERE IS SPRING?????

I'm in Kaukauna. About 30 miles north of Oshkosh. There is a cheese factory here. Kaukauna Cheese. Made almost entirely from cheese grade milk from local mom and pop dairy farms.

Guys, I see you are on the other end of the spectrum. I guess your cool temperatures will head this way shortly.

Hopefully the vineyards in Walla Walla are getting the weather they like. There are some pretty good wines produced in the Columbia Valley.

We had a week of 70s with a high today of 83. Previous two weeks were in the 60s.

I assume we'll have another snow, but if it doesn't come I won't worry to much. :lol:

the last few weeks it's been in the upper 70s, the few days it will hover in the low 80s

Two weeks ago I left for a 4 day work trip. I scraped snow off my car on the morning I left.
When I got home there were daffodils in the yard with bees on them already!
