white dot

So I've got a mauro armelllini with a white dot on the syem...I thought that was only for dunhills...what's up with that?

Distantly different dot than Dunhill, dude.

Some of the higher grade Vauen filter pipes also have a small white dot very similar to Dunhill. I guess a dot is just a dot, but Dunhill has ''The White Dot''.

Not the same size of dot so they are able to get around the trademark issue of the dot's. Dunhill fought anyone using a white dot back years ago and won some and finally lost on the issue of size of the dot. Time passes :twisted:

Many makers use some combination/variation of white dots. No end to those makers trying to capitalize on the Dunhill logo.
