Who has working smoke detectors in their home?

I have a smoke detector (currently disabled).
I don't need to know there's smoke cause I don't smoke in the house and if I did smoke in the house I certainly don't need a silly apparatus telling me.

No fear of burning.

Several of them, all report to the alarm company.
They are quick. If my wife smokes up the kitchen, I immediately run to my phone to answer the alarm call before the fire dept show up.
