Well, as some of you may know a while back ago I gave some Cherry Rope away that really wasn't the best stuff and Todd (taharris) bravely took it, sorry Todd.
Now just yesterday I received a generous package from him in which contained a 3 year old aged tin of Orlik Golden Sliced, which BTW I've never tried being for years it stated it was a Burley blend.
Well, we've all found out that was nonsense and just a typo on the tin. Being anxious to try it I popped it open this morning and rubbed out enough for a good bowl full and with a good cup of Joe went to the porch to enjoy, not knowing how much I was going to. Well, I found out, WOW!
What a wonderful weed, smooth, sweet, and with a bit of what I sensed as a smokey flavor. Hey, I'm no conasewer (yeah I know it's spelled wrong) but, as I said I'm no conasewer but, this stuff is good, might have to take up smoking this stuff intermediately between bowls of Escudo.
So anyway, to the important part of this post. Thank you so much Todd for introducing me to another fine tobacco. I reckon I'll have to send him something good to make up for the Rope and his kind generosity. Oh! And I can pay for shipping this time Todd.
