Topped off my mostly gone dgt Dunbar with a mix of Prince Albert and a PS English Oriental Supreme in the Savinelli Trevi 320EX. Stopped at a local grocery store today to get some kippered herring for lunch, and saw a pouch of Half and Half for under $3. Too late, I'd already checked out and don't need much more tobacco in the codger vein. Any smokers of this that want to give an impression? Maybe I'll stop for lunch there again. They also SWR in a pouch.

Rehydrated, and smoking year 2015 Mac Baren Modern Virginia in a medium bend, smooth dark brown 1950s Peterson 999 Shamrock chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Dunno why this blend was named "Modern Virginia" when it has a noticeable ten percent burley, but it is tasty.

This 50 year old pipe smokes like a dream. An Estella 111 (weight 1 3/8 oz) filled with PA on the front porch with a cool breeze waiting for the heat that will come.View attachment 19728
I love the colour combination of the stem/ finish, very well paired.

I like Half and Half, quite earthy, it reminds me somewhat of cigar leaf. SWR is more nutty/woodsy. I did not like it as much, it seemed almost sour in comparison. My two cents.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2004 GLP Stratford in a smooth dark brown medium bend post-1949 Peterson Kildare 80S bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. First time smoking this pipe. Watching the Pirates-Reds game until the Braves-Cards game starts.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, haddock and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm near the first third of this bowl of well aged 4Noggins Bald Headed Teacher in a medium brown, smooth octagonal paneled bowl and shank, medium bend 2016 Tim West Book Keeper 6 with a black acrylic saddle stem. Braves-Cards are in a rain delay, so I'm sticking with the Pirates-Reds game unless the former gets started.

Had early dinner at the casino with my buddy. Won 30 bucks on my $10 free play. Dinner was free with vet comps, gave the waitress a $5 tip, so I'm $25 ahead, lol. Now having PS Proper English in a grade 2 Nording Extra freehand dublin. Oolong tea on the side. Trying to calm my frustration. Wife was trying to use the new $900 dishwasher and couldn't get it to turn on. I said read the manual. She says there isn't one. I look at the stack of papers the guy who installed it left with us. She's right. No owner manual, just a small pamphlet that says you have to download it. Why do we have to freaking download everything?? GD9yfoyy(cursing). For $700 they couldn't toss a manual in the box with the machine??? Probably costs an extra 75 cents. Some technology is useful, other times it's a PITA. Rant off. Hope everyone is doing well. Good evening my friends.

Off to work with a bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Going to listen to the rest of the ball game. Braves-Cards was a rainout, so they'll play two tomorrow. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Had the same thing on a new F150-no manual, so had to order one. One guy at a dealer said it was through the screen in the truck. One would have bad luck if the truck battery is down.

Now smoking year 2014 Esoterica And So To Bed in a straight post-1981 GBD Prehistoric 133 billiard with brass accents, the letter K stamped on the shank with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I went outside to check on the ferals, and was happily surprised to see Abner the Eager. I had wondered if he may have come around when I wasn't looking the past two weeks. He still lightly favors his right front paw, and looks like he lost a pound or so. Right now, he's inside eating up a storm after getting some attention and affection. M'lady's going to take care of him while I go back to work.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Surbrug’s Crystal Palace in a dark brown smooth straight post-WW2 LHS Certified Purex 79 bulldog with a nickel ferrule and tenon with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Now smoking year 2021 first production Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Time to check the forum. Before long, I'll be reading baseball box scores.
