Half way through this bowl of aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2002 smooth top, black sandblasted quarter bend military mount Karl Erik Ekstravagant horn with a horn insert in the ferrule and black acrylic stem. Fed all the cats except for the still missing Abner the Eager.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. I may end the day with this smoke. Reading baseball box scores.

Last smoke of the day is year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 2018 natural smooth medium bend Peterson 03 apple silver spigot military mount with a tapered black acrylic fish tail stem. Just fed cats again, finished reading the box scores, and am reading while this bowl lasts.

Was pretty sure I posted this morning but the site's been up and down. Nothing earth shattering: Breakfast of Champions, Oriental Silk in my Bones Dublin with lawn care and a beer, and the washer puked. Replace not repair, it's the pump and it's about 20 years old. Guy won't even come out to look at it.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking and reviewing C&D Eight State Burley (Small Batch 2024) in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. This goes on sale July 10 at 6 p.m. EST. Watching the Braves-Phillies game as I review.

Couldn't post earlier, but as per my custom, my lead off smoke of the day was pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Big thunderstorms have canceled walking today. Fed my cats, but the ferals are hiding from the storm.

Now smoking and reviewing C&D Eight State Burley (Small Batch 2024) in a medium bend fumed tan crackled year 2020 Ahmet Govem reverse calabash meerschaum with a military mount silver band and black acrylic stem. I notice it's a little stronger this time. The ferals showed up, and we fed them. It's still raining.

Just finished smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Been watching the Dodgers-Brewers game. Mookie Betts has been in the booth with the regular announcers. This is the first time that I have heard an extended conversation with him, and I like what I have heard. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s Brown Flek 2021 in a 1984 smooth brown full bend Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.

Tuesday will be one week since Sam was spayed. She'll go back outside then. We had hoped to find a home for her, but no luck came our way. :(
