Sadly my back is acting up again! I was mopping the kitchen floor ( puppies have accidents! LOL!) and felt a sharp stabbing pain that hurt like hell,so now Singed has company. I was lying down with an ice pack awhile.
Anyway, Smoking my Caminetto billiard ,Sutliff Blue note,Bottle of Pellegrino mineral water while waiting for the pain meds to kick in,then back to bed.
A buddy of mine (who razed me for buying a Savinelli! over the pete!) sent me a video on how to use a dremel on it`s lowest speed to sand out the pipe. I did that and it worked great. He also told me to coat the bowl sparingly with honey and let it dry overnight which I am doing too. Probably,my last smoke of the day, guys.

@EZONSLOW The Rossi pipes I bought also have a similar coating. I don't think it's anything but a coat of Glycerine in the bowl with a powdering of charcoal. It burned away after 2 or 3 smokes. They smoke very well now. I can't remember if my Sav was coated, I bought it over ten years ago. You can see the coating I am talking about in these early images of my Rossi pipes.

A third of a bowl left of year 2020 C&D Virginia Flake in straight medium brown 1922-1937 Irish Free State era Peterson 222 bullcap with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. This should get me to dinner time. Just finished cleaning a few pipes.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm close to finishing this bowl of year 2020 D&R VIP in a 2004 smooth long shank Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 lumberman with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching the All Star game, of course. Fed the ferals during the last commercial, and poor Abner the Eager gave a mournful cry because he's afraid of Harry the Hairy. I brought Abner in to eat, and he just jumped on m'lady's lap after a hearty meal. I was a bit surprised because he's afraid of Sleepy Suzy, but she's asleep by m'lady's feet, so I guess love and attention conquered fear.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a black rusticated medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 67/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

Half way through this bowl of year 2010 Full Virginia Flake in a slight bend 1968 group 4S Dunhill Shell 475 cherrywood with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Brought Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave in to eat so Harry the Hairy wouldn't bug them. I also give them a little wet food, which is something we never do for the other ferals so I have to bring them in. Abner the Eager is too busy snoozin' to eat.

Did some low calorie snacking, and am smoking Seattle Pipe Club Give Me Liberty in a straight smooth medium brown pre-1920 straight Marechal Ruchon & Cie. Royale apple with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. I may end the day with this smoke.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2015 Basil Meadows Bing Crosby Merchant Service replica with a smooth straight thin shank, aluminum band and black ebonite stem. This was the first “Bing” that Basil made. I had another smoke because it's taking longer to feed everybody than I expected. Harry the Hairy was so much in need of my attention that he tried to climb up my left leg. I picked him up, scratched his head and back as I talked to him. He was purring like a freight train, and didn't want me to put him down. Then, I had to stay with him because he didn't want to eat unless I was there. I just fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave, and they wanted some attention from me, too. Abner the Eager left a while ago to wherever it is that he goes. Now, it's time to feed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger.

Gonna be a nice day here in the Missouri Ozarks. Black coffee and the Pete 307 filled with PA. We bought a house in the Kansas City area, closing tomorrow. The wife misses her friends and family —-I don’t. I’ll be staying here mostly. I love it here and here I will stay. We’re not having problems in any way we just have different desires of where we want to be and we’re too old for that to be a problem.

Rest and get well, EZ!

Last night it rained and the temperature dropped enough for me to get back on the patio and enjoy some KBV Burley Morning Pipe in a Peterson Dublin Edition 999 bent Rhodesian with a nickle ferrule and tapered vulcanite fishtail stem. I'm drinking Folger's Colombian coffee and watching a chess video as I prepare for a tournament on 7/27.

Hey guys, first pipe today. Exclusive in my Rossi Lumberman. I've been out on my back today. Had a vivid dream last night last night, three intruders in my kitchen. I woke up shouting and jumped violently out of bed. Took a few minutes to realize there was nobody there. I went back to bed.

I woke up this morning and I could barely stand so I called in. I've spent the day doing therapy and resting, only got up to eat and have a smoke now. Feeling stiff and fragile. With more rest I hope to be at work tomorrow. 🙏
Get well soon!

It's going to be a Warped day for me. Starting with Until the End in a GBD Prehistoric pot number 9493 with coffee creamed down good for a matching thick smooth drink like the smoke. This blend is growing on me and showing there are dimensions to pipe tobacco blends that I hadn't previously recognized.
