I had a ultrasound last week guys noooo I am not pregnant phew :ROFLMAO: And I had a convo with the chickadee that was doing it about the uses for the spleen, and I commented how often you hear of someone rupturing their spleen. And I said it is probably the seatbelt's fault and she said mmm I never thought about it yeah your prob right. True david?
ps if so still always wear seatbelts please people I would rather a busted organ than death any day!
Tge spleen is weird. It's all protected by your ribs though so I would say not. They are fun to remove since they're so large lol.

This morning it was Daughters & Ryan Three Sails in my beater mm cob.
It has been very smoky here in central Oregon. This land turns into a dangerous tinder box in summer time and we have nasty fires too often. The sky is blanketed by thick smoke for at least a month every year.
Here's hoping the fires die out quickly.

A third of a bowl left of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Just fed the ferals, and my cats. Looks like my walking reps will be rained out. Watching Mad Dog Russo. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Setting up my first ever bowl of Carter Hall in my Codger with some coffee. I am pleased by the aroma from the tub, something almost like bread dough that I like in it. And yes, I paid the ridiculous duty on the package and the majority was provincial sales tax - as I suspected. I will track that down with hounds this week-end. In the mean time I will enjoy resuming my codger blend experimentation. There are tins of Captain Black Original and Borkum Riff Original as well. Fight the power!

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 2003 medium bend straight grain Viggo Nielsen freehand dublin sitter with a cumberland saddle stem. Thought I'd give the 1938 Dunhill a day of rest. Lunch follows this smoke.

Having some Captain Black in my Tomato-meer. The Carter Hall was a very smooth, neutral smoke. There was no hint of the "bread" aroma in the room note, though. It will be good for work, I look forward to it.

I have smoked Captain Black cigarillos before, much better as a pipe. The aromatic character of it is a departure from other Codger blends for me.

Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. It's time to clean a few pipes.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. This will get me to dinner time. Watching the Braves-Mets game.

Smoking a Molina slightly bent Rhodesian,Sutliff blue note,Mc Cafe k-cup.
After a week long battle with my health ins. co. I will hopefully get an MRI done late tomorrow afternoon! So , I will have an idea of whats going on and what my options are moving forward with my back. Sadly, I probably will not get results until late Monday or Tuesday,But it`s progress!

Tried a bowl of Borkum Riff in the Tomato-meer, too. Nice flavourful Codger blend. I like the difference between Captain Black and Borkum Riff: Black is Black Cavendish and Burley, Borkum Riff is Black Cavendish and Virginia. I enjoyed both but I don't think either is an all day smoke for me. Carter Hall has potential in that regard.
