This will probably be my last smoke of the day: MB Mixture: Scottish in a Hardcastle's Crown bent billiard with saddle stem.

Now smoking year 2010 Amphora Original (Brown) in a full bend barley sandblast Peterson 125th Anniversary 1898-2023 No. 172/330 302 brandy military mount with a silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip saddle stem. Have enough left of this old pouch for one more smoke. Ice water and bergs is my drink. I was looking out the kitchen window, and saw Abner the Eager walking in the neighbor's yard. I called to him, and he came to the driveway. I had to go outside to get him because Harry the Hairy was at the deck steps, and Abner is very afraid of him. Abner is eating now, but I noticed that he's favoring his left paw. I remember that he hurt it somehow months back, and was limping rather badly. He's not limping now, but I just saw him hold it up as he's eating. I'll check him out after he finishes his food.

Trying out the Butz Jubile with some SPC Plum Pudding. Should be a good one to start with. Been working all day and I'm ready for a break.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm passing the first third of this bowl of year 2012 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching the Guardians-Yankees game, and am getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Decided to have some Byzantium in my little Horn meer. This is quite a small pipe, my smallest meer, certainly.

Did mine just before you posted this, Jim.

Took 2 naps today, had both grandkids over, and a granddog. Got to have a nice pipe with two of my boys. A great day, and now I'm exhausted and need a 3rd nap!

I got a tobacco delivery today. I'm trying C&D Virginia Flake in an MM Morgan along with a rum & cider cocktail, I've been too lazy to ferment some hard cider!

I did back March 29 earlier this year. I've been pretty quiet trying to get a lay of the land. Sorry if I looked like I barged in. This is an awesome go to for me and I really enjoy learning and and being part of a kindred spirit. My original post back in March - I'm excited to be part of this briar brotherhood. I started smoking pipes as a young man in the early 80's, emulating my dad's passion for the pipe. He sadly passed away in the early 90's and his pipe collection fell to me. My pipes then sat unused for a few decades until recently. Now in my back half life journey, my briar collection has become a constant companion and good friend. I am looking forward to learning way more than I know today from y'all.

Now smoking year 2014 Orlik Golden Sliced in an early 20th century Gordon Special Bruyere 49 apple with a triangular shank and tapered black vulcanite stem.

Continuing with new straight Virginias I packed Sutliff Stoved Virginia into an MM Morgan. Watching a Miles Davis performance of Time After Time.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking first release Watch City Rhythm & Blues in a straight smooth brown 1920s-30s Sasieni patent 8 dot Marborough lovat with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Boswell Military Force in a Freehand Bent Boswell Pipe.

Ending the day with C&D Yorktown in an MM Morgan with a cider cocktail. Watching a live version of Herbie Hancock "Watermelon Man" on YouTube.

Now smoking year 2010 FVF in a straight smooth dark brown 1896 W.H. Newman, Ltd. billiard with a sterling silver band and a tapered yellow and orange stem with white swirls and an orific bit.
