Passing the quarter mark of this bowl of Savinelli 145th Anniversary 2024 in a 1976 black rough carved Pioneer Meerschaum Hungarian with a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Sleepy Suzy is by my side supervising my reviewing.

Dinner was a wonderful salad, striped bass and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've a third of a bowl left of Seattle Pipe Club Give Me Liberty in a straight smooth medium brown pre-1920 straight Marechal Ruchon & Cie. Royale apple with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Less than an hour ago, I learned that one of my best friends, and most knowledgeable pipe smokers, David Cuneo, a.k.a. Dmcmtk, has passed away from natural causes. I'm working on an obituary that I never thought that I would have to write.

Where I grew up every town with more than 500 people had a grain elevator, sometimes two. Nothing like that!

Decompressing with a bowl of Epiphany, in two parts. The Savinelli 616 is so big I smoked half earlier and am returning to it now. Grandpa's Sweater to drink.

We moved three Freedom Ranger inside and split our last four hens into our two flocks. Now I'm watching the Bengals vs Ravens game and enjoying GLP Westminster in a bent MM Washington Rob Roy along with a glass of Moscato wine.

At your recommendation I am looking at ordering some GLP with my Christmas order of another Falcon pipe or two, if they ever restock. Both SP and TP are out of stock at the moment.

Now smoking year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a straight, black sandblasted pre-1970 Comoy’s Sunrise Etched Grain straight Liverpool 309 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Off to work with a bowl of year 2020 D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem. All the ferals just showed up, so m'lady's taking care of them.

Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. David Cuneo loved his pipe, so this smoke is in his memory.

We're back to chilly mornings! It was nice to only feed two flocks and it will be even better when they all bond with their rooster. I'm starting off with GLP Westminster in a bent MM Apple Diplomat along with a cup of coffee as usual.
