It was pouring this morning. I stayed in bed until I heard chickens outside then at their insistence I got up and started feeding my animals. My dogs are letting me know they’re unhappy about the late breakfast.
I’ll be inside all day today puttering and catching up on paperwork which I despise.

Nutty Irishman in my Grand Duke with a cup of coffee and then Breakfast for lunch.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2021 unreleased Sutliff Black Virginia Flake in a late 80's, early 90s James Upshall P DS Tilshead England Made By Hand L185 Canadian with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. I'm sure glad I have a bit of this blend. The pipe is a great smoker, too.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2014 HU Directors Cut in a very early Ascorti straight New Dear KS billiard with a carved shank and a black acrylic tapered stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Wow! Participation here sure has shrunk lately. See you folks tomorrow.

Arrrg. It’s been pouring all day and I’ve been in the warm all day.
Hahaha NOT I had to go out and move things for animals and dig ditches to divert mini rivers. I smoked Captain Black Original in my poor MM cob all day It’s so wet it started to sprout shoots.
Hopefully done for the night.
Having a quick smoke in a 1950s Brebbia Sun while dinner cooks.

Quick post breakfast bowl of DGT American Cut Plug in the cob. When I emptied the bowl, some of those plug chunks were glowing like a firewood coal. Then, I loaded some leftover C&D Steamworks into the same cob, and having with coffee. Good grief, we are having thunderstorms here. I bet many of us are wrapped up in Christmas things, so expect to see new posts of new tobacco, pipes, or accessories...

Not the prettiest thing I’ve seen until I smoke it then it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s an Estella 803EX. They called um “big Canadians” when I bought it 50 years ago and it is just that. IIRC it cost $22 back then. One of my best smokers. I’m on the porch with Prince Albert in it.
