    Anyone else not getting messages?

I'm inclined to say no...but then, I guess how would I know?

Sales at P&C and SP for the month of March

15% CD Bulk is a nice offer...considering there are two particular blends I want to stock up on. And since I'm one of the few who haven't been bitten by the P&C problems, it looks like I'll be placing an order!

    Question re jarring up Haddo's

Buy the tin and check the date on the bottom...if it's already got some time on it, you might want to consider leaving it alone. If it's relatively fresh (which is more likely than not), then it's no big deal to interrupt the aging - crack it open and move it to jars.

    Instagram anyone?

I'm no geezer (just a ripe 34), but I can't handle it. Forums and Facebook pretty much top out my attention span - I tried both Instagram and Twitter, and I lasted about 32 seconds!

    Hello & Fond Memories!

Hey, man...it's been a long time, for sure. Glad you're doing well, buddy!

    P & C Shipping

Same. Well, that and there are some H&H/RO blends that they carry that I love (P&C may have it's issues, but Russ Oullette is a magician with tobacco leaf). Not to get all "neener-neener" on you guys, but my order from Monday arrived on my doorstep yesterday (Thursday). I guess I'm just one...

    OMG

Hey, it's all relative, right? Yeah, you and I would buy a dozen or more pipes for our personal use (plus some tobacco to boot) for the price of that one pipe, but maybe there's some guy thinking "Jeez...I could buy four Kitahara's for what they want for THIS PUPPY!!!"

Waaaaahhhhhh! (the sound of a big baby crying)

Wallow away, BH...that's some lousy luck. I don't know what's going on around the Pacific Northwest, but there's a doozy of a virus making it's rounds here in Ohio (you know the kind - starts as a cold and after a few days it seems like some combination of the bubonic plague and salmonella...

    P & C Shipping

I place an order in the middle of the day on Monday. I just received confirmation that my order has shipped about 20 minutes ago. When ordering, it said something to the effect that "orders placed today will ship on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd." So, at least in my case, everything seems to be...

    Really Random Snuff Questions

Yes. And No. For me, it depends on the snuff. If I'm using a snuff that's on the dry and fine side (toasts, most of the Toque line, etc), then yes - it does seem to contribute to dryness (in the nostrils, that is...it doesn't seem to affect my sinuses). Some snuffs really get my nose...

    Really Random Snuff Questions

Also: don't be fooled. It probably seems like I know what I'm talking about, but I've only been snuffing for a few years...thanks, in fact, to this board. I was curious about it and someone (Drums/Beer, I think) sent me a tin he didn't much care for - fell in love, jumped in with both feet.

    Really Random Snuff Questions

Well this seems fun. I'll play! --How often depends on the mood I'm in, what I'm doing, and if I'm using other forms of tobacco. Like I said in your other post, I may take a few pinches a week, or I may take a few pinches an hour. --I don't own an actual snuff spoon, but I've put the spoon...

    Trying Out A Gift!

Yeah, Toque can get a little sneezy. But once you get the technique down, MAN do they make some great stuff! St. Clemens is one of my favorites. How often? Anywhere from a few pinches a week to a pinch or more an hour. It all depends on what kind of mood I'm in - some days its snuff all...

    Newminster Superior Round Slices

I started this thread over 4 years ago...since that time, this has become one of my favorite blends. I bought a lot of it early on, as it used to be significantly less expensive than it's PS counterparts - nowadays, the prices are often fairly comparable. If anyone is still on the fence, I'd...

    What are you smoking?

Cup O Joe's #4 (Yeti Flake). What a surprising delight this blend is! Smoking in a Todd Harris smooth bulldog.

Who Manufactures Hearth & Home Tobaccos?

I haven't bought any tinned HH in a while. Are the actual tins the same as when Sutliff processed them only with a different manufacturer's label? Or are the tins themselves different? There are a few HH blends that I enjoy, but I always thought the tins (Sutliff) were unfortunate - 1.5oz of...

    New Artisan Snuff

I'm not saying it completely fills in the gaping chasm left by the passing of Chef Daniel and Old Mill Snuff, but there's a new American Artisan snuff maker that comes really, really close. I've tried all three of the initial batches, and they are all absolutely fantastic. Tins are artisan, so...

    I can see!

Congrats, man! I had mine done last fall and so far it seems like one of the best decisions I've ever made (just make sure you use the eye drops!!!).
