    C&D Label Differences

I know. I actually liked the distinctiveness of the C&D labels. Thank you for the information.

    C&D Label Differences

Quick question to the knowing. I ordered this, but I received this. My first thought was the generic label is tinned bulk baccy and the artwork label is the production run. Does anybody know if there are any differences, other than the label, between these and other C&D tins labeled differently?

how do you prep your jars?

Dishwasher (jars only). I bring 'em home, throw 'em in, put 'em back together in box. If you use any "jet dry" stuff do not uuse the dish washer. Wash by hand. The jet dry crap leaves a film.

    14oz Carter Hall, jar it?

I have a tub of Sugar Barrel that's been open for 6+ months. It is still perfect. They use some good PPG in these baccys. I think these tubs seal pretty darn good.

So depressing out there. What we need is a feel good moment.

Yes memories and a smile! I was a kid when this show was on and it gave me a flash back to those period shows. Man from Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica, In Search Of, Six Million Dollar Man, etc. Thanks for the smile!

    Break-in tobacco for new pipes

I like a burley like CH or Uhles 00. Right now I like Mac Barens Golden extra but I haven't burned it in a new pipe yet. One surprise was McC 2015. It cakes like no tomorrow in a new cob. My reasoning to use burley is its easier to move the pipe up the "tobacco chain" than to move it down. But...

    I Couldn't Be a Cop

To bring this topic around to the purpose of the site... I'd smoke Mixture 79 for the rest of my life (I'm 45 had have a history of centenarians on both sides) for some retribution.

good condition pete on the bay

To really sell that pipe he needs additional weird lighting and blurry photos. I'm amazed at some listings out there.

Why do we all love Peterson so much?

I love their shapes! Hate their engineering! I purchased my first Pete, a 107 shape 2014 St. Pats, and the drilling was off. In my book totally unacceptable for a straight pipe. Wouldn't pass a cleaner. Returned. Second pipe, an Irish Made Army shape 69, drilling was off and wouldn't pass a...

    erinmore flake...first try

Its good stuff. I just think of it as mild Aero in flake form. Takes while to dry for me and I prefer it rubbed out.

    Went to a concert

I enjoy most music except rap & pop. I hate large concerts. Give me small clubs, especially piano bars and jazz clubs, and I feel the experience is much more ppersonal and enjoyable. Oh and Barry Manalow is nothing compared to toddler music. My son was given a toy with some Wiggles songs...
