I was talking to my next door neighbor about our internet providers. I was exploring moving away from fiber optic Century Link to T-Mobile 5G. At my address, I have access to T-Mobile 5G for the smartphone, but not for internet provider. The T-Mobile rep says they use separate towers and the 5G internet tower hasn't been erected, as yet, to serve my neighborhood.
My neighbor says he uses T-Mobile 5G for everything. We both have unlimited phone plans. For computer use, he tethers from his 5G phone to a laptop, when the screen on his "phablet" isn't large enough and for TV, he mirrors to his TV from his phone. I had not even considered this.
