Everybody has at least one, what are yours? I don't mean something that makes you mad necessarily, but sort of mildly annoys you when it crosses your path.

Personally:
1- litter. This got worse once I took up the trash collecting profession.

2- poor grammar, either spoken or in print. Admittedly, I'm not the best at either, but I try. I think I overuse commas more than anything else.

3- cyclists. Damn most of them. (Keeping this one short)

People that fart in their cubical right before asking you to work on their computer.

Cigarette smokers that flick their butts onto the street, sidewalk, lawn, wherever. Is it that hard to find a trash can? (I am a cigarette smoker, but I get the remnants in the trash.

I work alone, so I don't know about unruly gas issues much. I'm sure that can't be great though. Aside from calling them out on it, I don't know what to tell you. I do smoke cigs, but I drive a big garbage can most of the time. Otherwise I strip the butts and put them in my pocket.

Can't wait to see where this thread goes once the codgers show up lol.

Codger checking in here.

Will have to give this some thought. Frankly I try not to let too much irritate me these days.

That said, young workers shirking their duties and responsibilities are an annoyance. Perhaps I was once like this at their age, but finally "got it" early on. I was on my own from 17 onwards and had to figure it out. Not hard if you want a life of partying or something better!

Cheers,

RR

If only I could show you some of the recent book reviews that were turned in -- my head still hurts from reading two of the ones I graded today (of out just five)

ALL of the above, that and people that have no respect for others that are in there little ME ME world. That actually is the same as all of the above but, should cover everything else that may come up.
Selfish self-centered people should be against the law ;)

Whiners which covers most of the US population! Just listen to Rush, Shawn and the rest, whine, whine, whine

Wait-staff that insist on grabbing your plate while you're still chewing your last bite and while others at the table are still eating.

Barbarians. Open mouth chewers. Double standards. Pointless cruelty. Cigarette butts laying about like animal droppings. Drivers in the passing lane with their turn signal on for hours, doing less than the speed limit. My own poor craftsmanship....

I get that. I try to bear in mind that most people only have point of view for the world. Notice I said try haha. You see a lot more of who people really are when you are on the road I notice. For all the decent ones there are, there is far too many a-holes running around in the mix.

It makes me wonder if I'm from the only family that handed out whippings for misbehavior in the 80s

Don't computers still have a spell check program?

People that don't bathe regularly or use deodorant. BO is not only offensive it's an insult to anyone who has the misfortune of being downwind of the offender.

Oh, my, YES!

Women (usually older and plus size) that use way too much perfume.
Drivers that are looking down texting and do not know the light has changed until you honk.
Families who let their kids crawl on the floor and scream in public areas and just smile.
Old women who hold up the checkout line digging through their purse for correct change.
Aholes who get a dog, chain it out and ignore it.
Fake ****s.
Hardwood instead of carpet.

You sound like a really neat guy, but I have to admit that our dog does not like trash trucks.
I am sure that its not personal but she goes bonkers when a trash truck, or a UPS truck for that matter, goes by on our walks. She does, however, like USPS trucks because they carry treats.

Oh man, don't even get me started on bicyclists! And kayakers... They're like the cyclists of the sea.

Bub, that's funny, most dogs I know love garbage.....
