No one gives there children discipline anymore, our wise government made it against the law.
Ron is so right about this. A neighbor of mine gave his 11 YO a spanking for deliberately damaging another neighbor's property and the kid called the police. They came and DSS got involved and  the neighbor had to go to court to get his kid back because the DSS took the child out of their custody. They were later exonerated of any wrong doing but it cost them thousands of dollars in legal fees and now they are scared to discipline the child in any way. I am so glad all of my kids are grown and I don't have to deal with them.

In addition to all of the above, may I add:

Drivers who can't,

1. Parallel park correctly if at all,

2. Angle park, nor can they

3. Pull into a straight-in parking slot!!

And we give'em a drivers license and let'em vote!!!  FTRPLT

Oh man!

People who don't get off their phones when they come into my store and either ignore my greetings or try to ask me for help and then try to listen to two conversations.

People who ask if we carry Cubans. Ignorance is only bliss for the ignorant one.

People who mistreat wait-staff and retail people just because they think they are better.

People who love drama. This isn't high school, get over it.

People who eat out every night, party on weekends, always taking trips, but then complain and whine when an unexpected expense comes up (transmission, accident, extra fees) or they don't have any savings for big things/retirement. PLEASE grow a set, learn how to budget, and handle your business.

Panhandlers/beggars. I understand that not all of us are fortunate enough to have a house, but I'm a small female and I REALLY dislike being approached by strange males for money. I feel the need to help but I also feel the need to punch you in the throat and run away.

I second all of the driving ones and the children running around. I see amazing amounts of stupidity in the mall including children being unattended, running around, and screaming. UGH.

This is all true! I also dislike when people pull through from space to the next but don't get the rear-end of the vehicle all the way into the second parking spot. Essentially taking up two spots unless you drive a SmartCar...

Yes, yes. All of the above.

And another from me; not having the correct tool for the job. Heck, this annoys me and it's all too easy to fall into the trap of trying to use something else which ends up making a real hash of what you're trying to do.

I must admit I can't; so unlike many others, I know enough not to try! I think my last successful attempt was in 1974, when I was practicing for my drivers' exam and haven't tried since about 1978....

Truck drivers who fall asleep waiting in lines at various yards and stations. Especially when they get mad that everyone passed them while snoozing

And slow drivers in the right lane (UK) ;)

Also middle lane cruisers.
Stick, be kind here!!! That driver might just might be me doing my worst interpretation :joker: of someone who knows what they are doing driving "on the wrong side of the damn road!!" And let's not even get into a discussion about round abouts!!!!!!!!! FTRPLT

Mate, that's funny!

You've obviously experienced the delights of our round a bouts at some stage. I still drive into them with my safety catch off in case I get 'bumped'. I see a near miss on them pretty much every day of the week. Carnage.

David me ol' mukker, sometime I'll have to regale thee with the story of the infamous Coventry roundabout experience I had back in like '86 or so, with a Yank mate that had only just sat himself behind the wheel!

It's a story for over a pint, mind. Too detailed to go into here.

Suffice to say for the time being, that it was a series of 3 mini-roundabouts.....and my mate didn't get on exactly champion with it......LOL!

Cheers,

RR

I know -- the problem is with the people who think they can parallel park and back up traffic as they repeatedly try (and try) to do so

Rande old bean I'd love to share a jar and hear this one. I know the sort of multiple round a bouts you speak of. I find the best tactic is to pretend you're Italian and go for it.
