--EDIT: I just saw where someone else just asked about a Burley blend. Then I remembered C&D has bulk white Burley. I'll give that a try.---

I've smoked this off and on every winter for a while. I craved something with a touch of vanilla and smooth edges (I generally turn my nose up at aromatics) so it includes 1/4 part MacB Vanilla flake - amongst the lat, va, cav, and oriental. I'm wanting to change it up a tad (no pun intended) with the introduction/substitution of a nice, nutty Burley...just a tad.

Have any of you gentlemen got a recommendation for a readily available, good quality, not crazy expensive Burley that I could blend with? I have a few Burley blends in my cellar, but don't want the added Cavendish or latakia, or whatever may be in them. And I already have to find a substitute for my Mac B VF, so that's gonna be fun.

You can try a two ounce tin of G L Pease The Virginia Cream, it has vanilla and bourbon. The other vanilla flavored tobacco I smoked many years ago is Lane 1-Q. I wasn't crazy about the STG version but it does have a hearty dose of vanilla.

Thank you for those recommendations. I like the VF because it's so plain. Just needed it to smooth and round edges. I wanted something I could smoke while watching the entire trilogy (extended versions, of course)
