Can anyone explain this?

I have a package that left San Francisco for my house on the 18th. No updates and no clue where it is. Sad part.... I could hitch-hike my way from SF to Houston in less time than it is taking for my package to get to me.

Maybe it's a time travel slingshot effect? Send it away from it's destination and slingshot it around the sun, and it shows up before you ordered it? Captain Kirk does it all the time........
Amazon Prime ESP does that. Oh wait...it hasn't been perfected yet. Shut my mouth, I've said too much already.

Feb 8 to Feb 24, date of purchase to date of pickup at PO, for those interested. Had to sign for it. Wish I could say I "stole" this pipe, but nay, I had to pay pretty much the going rate for what it is. So I'm now a pot smoker. Definitely has a different burn profile, if I may coin a concept, from a standard billiard. Of course, this is an unusually wide one, virtually a full inch. We'll see how that works out.

That looks to be a Guibleo 'd Oro ? If so you got one of the FINEST pipes made !! They are WAAAAY better than almost any Dunnie IMHO !!  And that shape and it's size are going to reveal flavors in your blends.mixtures you've been smoking but missing till now !! I'd say it was worth the wait !!

Yes, it is a Guido d'Belly-o. You could be right about the taste. My inaugural bowl was some Dunhill Flake that had been dried out to a crisp and re-hydrated so many times that I had doubts about any flavor being left. Tasted really great and burned for a very long time. So I can just toss all my other pipes, right? ;)

PM sent! Kidding, beautiful acquisition.

That' a beautiful pipe Richard. Glad it got to you - eventually.
A G d'Oro is on my list of wants, seeing that one sends it near the top.

Thanks, Adam. Less than 200 Americano. They're around. Wish I hadn't developed such a taste for sandblasts in recent years, though. But yeah, I like it just fine. Looked like new, at first. Then I discovered the draft hole was near being plugged. I've had several estates like that, which makes one wonder if the reason they were for sale is that they didn't draw, or did so poorly.
