There must be 50 different samples in here. I had been smoking my new fav aromatic before she arrived (it's what I smoke around the kids now) so in keeping with that theme I fired up a bowl of MacBaren honey and chocolate - smelled great in the tin, alas, not so great. Immediately went to the Trout Stream. Started out as an average vanilla, not bad, nothin special. However, as the bowl progressed a nice warm rich taste worked itself up in my little Stanwell HCA and the tatse actually built and got much better as I went along, not falling apart as most aros seem to do. That coupled with the total lack of bite has me definitely wanting to smoke a couple more bowls, something I shall do since there's plenty there.

I'm going to research the Bonaquisti blends that Dock planted in the box as there are a bunch and they deserve a bit of attention, and I'm really looking forward to trying the Heinrich's 169, perhaps this evening.

I'll be deep in Babs inner sanctum for the next few days :shock: If I don't make it out at least you'll know I went out happy :lol:

I found Troutstream to be rather tasty also. One of those rare aromatics that delivers on the pouch aroma. I believe that it is a Pipesandcigars.com blend.

The West Box arrived this evening. A lot of great smelling blends in there. I unpacked the box, seperated out what I'd like to sample, and packed the rest back in the box. It's full. I'll have to do some creative packing to get it all back in.

Unfortunately, I've got to finish my taxes tonight, so won't get started until tomorrow night. I think I'll have to start with the Hermit XVC and then head to the SOTE -- Thanks Tony. I'll definately need my full week on this side of the pass.
