Hello all, a moderately new pipe smoker from the thumb of Michigan here, I've been following a lot of posts on here and finally decided to register. Ive got 4 pipes so far, 3 corncobs and a pear wood pipe. Still experimenting with the different types of pipe tobacco. Hope to make some friends on here and get a lot of tobacco recommendations that wont break the bank! Also if anyone else is from the area let me know!

I like reading the debates! But i do have a question, In the Michigan winters do you guys still smoke outside? i Can't smoke inside so im freezing all winter!

Hmm, I have those propane radiant heater things on the patio, I should fire those up and try smoking outside, might be a nice relaxing change from the living room, pretend it's not miserably cold out there!
